Keith Fitzhugh would rather work with the railway than in the NFL

All the livelong day, Keith Fitzhugh would prefer to work on the railroad than within the NFL.Fitzhugh recently turned down an offer to play for the New York Jets, who had employed and cut him previously three times. Fitzhugh puts family and earning a steady living over the New York Jets. Fitzhugh figures he’s less likely to need a payday loan on the railroad.
National Football League not as thrilling as rail career for Fitzhugh
The Georgian 24 year old Keith Fitzhugh was offered what many can only dream of. The safety position was offered to him by the New York Jets. This was only because Jim Leonhard was injured in the game against the New England Patriots during the Monday Night football game. However, Fitzhugh turned the Jets down, according to the New Jersey Star Ledger. Fitzhugh has wanted a National Football League career for a while. It has been 2 years of trying. The benefits that come from constant employment looked good to him. He chose a position as a conductor with the Norfolk Southern railroad. He nevertheless lives at home with his parents. This is because his disabled father needs his help.
Hoping a guaranteed income will happen
Fitzhugh was an undrafted free agent in 2009, as he got hired by the Jets in May of that year, waived in August, in September added to practice finally and then in December was signed by the Baltimore Ravens. The Baltimore Ravens signed Fitzhugh in December 2009 as he was an undrafted free agent. He was employed by the Jets in May 2009, waived in August and added to the practice squad in September before being hired finally. The Ravens cut him leading him to be employed by the Jets within the summer. He was only cut again though. It could be really hard to be unemployed continuously while waiting to be picked up by a team as not everybody within the NFL continuously has a huge paycheck on the way.
Higher callings
Not everyone would love the NFL. Going to Yale Law School was what Gerald Ford did instead of going to the NFL later to become the United States President. Myron Rolle was one who wanted to study as a Rhodes Scholar. He is now a Tennessee Titan on the practice squad but postponed going to the NFL for this purpose.
